XONESERVER: REPLICA AND COMMUNICATIONS SERVER
- OPERATIVE SYSTEM:
- Windows Server 2000 32 Bits

- Windows Server 2012 32 and 64 Bits

- IBM AIX
- MICROSOFT.NET FRAMEWORK 4 and 4.5 WITH ITS SERVICE PACK
- CONNECTION BY ODBC, OLEDB OR .NET TO THE CLIENT DATABASE
- Port 7757 (by default) open and forwarded to the machine that has the replica service isntalled.
Hardware Requirements
About the replica, a distinction has to be clearly made between the Database engine function from the Replica Service function.

From a significant number of devices (from 100), it is very convenient to have the Database in another independent machine of the replica server, remaining the server where the replica service is with the requirements of between 50-100 devices and dedicate the most of the hardware resources to the server where the Database will be set.

NECESSARY REQUIREMENTS FOR INSTALLATION
- IIS installed in the machine.
- Frameworks .NET 2.0,3.0,3.5,4.0,4.5… with its service packs.
- Enabling use of “Active Server Page” in the server extensions.
- Enabling use of ASP.NET v2.0.50727 in the server extensions.
- Database Manager System chosen for the solution: SQL Server 2005+, MYSQL 4.1+, Oracle 8i+…
- Installation of a database named xonemanager for the management of the site.
- ODBC/OLEDB/.NET connectivity between the machine where the web services are installed and where the data are stored.
- Communication between the machine where the services are installed and the machine where the replica server is installed in.
- Disk space of, at least, 2GB, being advisable 10GB, for the updates repository. This size will depend on the number of devices and apps to manage.
MODIFICATION PERMISSIONS MUST BE GRANTED TO THE FOLDERS THAT MADE UP THE INSTALLATION.THEY WOULD BE:
- Start web site.
- Web site xonelive
- Web site xonemanager
- Data repository ( e:/xoneupdates)
THE USER PROFILES THAT MUST HAVE THESE PERMISSIONS ARE:
- MYSERVER\ASPNET.
- MYSERVER\IIS_WPG.
- MYSERVER\IUSR_MYSERVER.
- MYSERVER\NETWORK SERVICE, for the data repository.
REGISTERING MIMETYPES
At the IIS, we have to register the following file extensions(mimetypes):
- apk application/vnd.android.package-archive
- cod application/vnd.rim.cod
- jad text/vnd.sun.j2me.app-descriptor
- ipa application/octet-stream ipa
- plist application/octet-stream ipa
- mobileprovision application/octet-stream
